I'm taking the week off!

Happy Canada Day
and 4th of July!
|
While you celebrate this coming week, I will be secluded away working on my book and taking the occasional swim. I hope to have it finished by fall. I figured this would be a good week for my "bus driver's holiday" since you won't appreciate an old fart like me forcing you to think about more than the cost of gas or whether you will get a sun burn!
I wish you all a great week and that you will let summer take posession of our thoughts.
Catch lots of fish or sun rays; play great golf; eat great food; splash in the water with your kids and pets; and have a great time!
I know I will have a great time, especially since I know how to live . . . without gods!

Smile always, laugh often, and only cry at movies. If you are not doing one of these three things then you are doing something wrong.

*Terms and Definitions
My articles may contain words or phrases that may infer different meanings to different readers, or my reader may be unfamiliar with a term or its definition. I feel it is important to know what writers meant when they used a word or term.
cognitive dissonance —
Filtering out information that conflicts with what one already believes, in an effort to ignore that information and reinforce one’s beliefs.
Editors note: I will be repeating the “cognitive dissonance” definition for quite a while since it is practiced by so many — known by so few!
